A Certified Financial Planner must have obtained the Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and have to attend seminars and courses on new developments and legislation to obtain CPD points and maintain the designation.
The FPI is the professional body representing Financial Planners in South Africa. They ensure that clients have access to the highest international standards of financial planning. The FPI is affiliated to the International Financial Planning Institute.

Christo is registered as a key person with the FSCA. He has been providing financial advice and planning services since 1996 and is among the select group of Certified Financial Planners in South Africa.
Annemarie Trinder-Smith
Annemarie is a Certified Financial Planner. She obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning with distinction and was awarded the prize by the FPI for the best overall student in the country in June 2009.
Simone Ferreira
Simone joined CSfin in 2015 as a Senior Administrative Assistant. She completed the Allan Gray Assistant Academy in 2018 and came first in her class in Bloemfontein with an overall course average of 90%.
